Chico's (CHS) finally turning the corner.
Shares of Chico's FAS (CHS) got a boost after the clothing retailer posted solid March same-store sales. For the five weeks ended April 7, the Chico's posted an increase of 5.2% in same-store sales and a 22% jump in total sales. Total sales rose to $191.2 million from $156.8 million a year ago. Shares were trading up $1.86, or 7.4%, to $27.01.
My average price bought for this stock is $25.58. I started at around $27.76 and averaged down. Today is the first time I'm making a profit on this stock if I sell. I may sell 1/3 of this position because I didn't buy it at it's low of $16.95.
